TO plan your fall family portrait session

Autumn is such a short-lived season here in New York. Because of that, we plan all of our fall family portrait sessions for September & October when the foliage is at its best and when the temperatures are more manageable for little ones.

Our outdoor portrait season ends in October, and we do not book family sessions outdoors after Halloween.

Please plan ahead to save a date for your family’s fall portrait session. The calendar fills up quickly, and every family reserves a date and a rain date. Reach out early and let’s chat about creating beautiful portraits that your family will enjoy for many years to come!

don’t let your family portraits get lost on a dusty hard drive!

The most important part of your family portrait session comes AFTER the session. You’ve done all of the hard work already — you found the perfect photographer, got everyone dressed in coordinating outfits, remembered snacks for a little bribe, and smiled and laughed until your cheeks hurt.

Now it’s time to enjoy those images you worked so hard for! And they are way too good to only be enjoyed on a little 5x7 rectangle of a holiday card, right?

I am truly passionate about helping families enjoy their favorite memories on their walls and in albums that they will look at now with their little ones and that they will pass down to their children one day when they are grown. Your printed family portraits are your legacy. What story do you want them to tell?

Every portrait session includes a Gallery Reveal appointment after the session. This is when we get together to choose your favorite images & artwork products. Most families print a few for the wall, a handful of small portraits of the kids for grandparent gifts, and an album or collection box for all of their other favorite moments that we captured on camera. Check out the link below for a peek at our museum-quality heirloom products that your family will enjoy for generations!
